He Is Faithful By Roger Bye

One year ends and another begins with all its unknowns. But there is one thing we can be sure of. God is faithful. He is faithful in His love, His grace and His mercies that are new each morning. He is faithful to His promises and to all generations. His faithfulness is the steady drumbeat throughout scripture reminding His people that He will never fail or forsake us. Great is His faithfulness! As we begin another year together, let’s know this glorious and secure foundation. He is utterly faithful. He also will keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1 v 8,9.

An Update from Dan Beresford

I am spending a gap year at Bethel Church in California, where I am enrolled in their ministry school. It has been an incredibly transformative time so far! In late March, I will be traveling to Quito, Ecuador, on a mission trip, with a team of fellow students for a 10-day outreach. We will be ministering in local churches, schools, and prisons, as well as engaging in street evangelism. The purpose of the trip is to apply the teachings and training we've received during our school year, encouraging other believers and sharing the love of Jesus with those who have yet to know Him. Our team leaders are an amazing family from Ecuador who know how we can be used to make a lasting impact, in a way that is culturally sensitive. We will also get the privilege of ministering in their home city of Cuenca. To give you a sense of what the trip will be like, here is a video from the 2023 Ecuador mission trip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyW_afU8864I am reaching out to ask for your prayer and financial support. Specifically, I would appreciate prayers for:

  • Unity and strong relationships within the team as we prepare for the trip.

  • Provision for all team members to meet their fundraising goals.

  • That God would prepare the hearts of the people we will meet in Ecuador to receive us.

Additionally, I will be creating a WhatsApp group to send out regular updates and prayer requests before and during the trip. If you would like to be added to this group, please feel free to email me your phone number at dan.beresford@btinternet.com.

The total cost for the trip is $3,000 (approximately £2,400), and I have already raised $1,600. My next fundraising goal is a further $950 by 17th January, with the final balance due by 14th February.

If you feel led to partner with me financially, you can make a donation through the following link: https://my.bssm.net/donations/travel_transactions/new?finance_target_id=19572&finance_target_type=TripRegistration

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like more information about the trip. I also have a mailing list for updates on my journey at Bethel, and I would be happy to add you to it if you’d like to stay informed. Thank you so much for your love and support!

Blessings,

Dan Beresford
