HOW WE
MEET

JOIN US!

Whether you have been following Jesus for ages, or simply want to find out more about God, there's room for you here with us. We are a grace-centred, word and spirit inspired community of friends on a mission together. We'd really love you to join our journey,

SUNDAY MORNING

Our Sunday mornings start at 10:15am in the main hall at Cockermouth School with Coffee. Our worship starts at 10:30 and then we enjoy listening to a talk based on the bible. We normally finish at 12:00.

You can hear the current talks on our YouTube channel, please click here to visit the channel.

We strongly believe in the active presence of the Holy Spirit, and expect God to speak to us through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. We encourage participation from anyone in the Church, and love to see people stepping out in faith to encourage the Church.

Our Worship is lively, God honouring and Jesus centered.

If you would rather join the service through Zoom, please contact: admin@kingscc.org for the invite.

MIDWEEK

During the week, we meet in smaller groups around town and the surrounding area, these small groups at Kings Church are essential part of our life together.  They are a place to connect with other people and get to know each other better.  They are a place to belong and form those deeper connections as a church family  They are a place to Inspire one another and encourage each other in the ups and downs of life.  And they are a place to grow both personally and as a group, going deeper into our life in Christ.

We have a number of groups in Kings, all different and meeting at different times and places, but all reflecting our church vision of “Loving Jesus, making Him known”.  Some groups meet in people’s homes, some are focussed around a common interest, be it creative or sporting; whilst some groups have a specific focus e.g. prayer for revival, church at work etc.  We have groups that meet on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings, and a group that meets during the day on Wednesday.
