HOW WE
MEET

JOIN US!

Whether you have been following Jesus for most of your life or you simply want to find out more about God, we'd love for you to join us. We are a grace-centred, word and spirit-inspire community of friends on a mission together.

SUNDAY MORNING

Our Sunday morning church meeting takes place at Cockermouth School (CA13 9HF) from 10.15 - 12.00. The meeting includes refreshments from 10.15am, worship from 10.30am, and a talk. There is kids work available during the talk for children aged 3+ and for young people in school years 7-9 (during term time). There is a toddler area at the back of the hall.

You can listen to recent talks on our YouTube channel, please click here to visit the channel.

We strongly believe in the active presence of the Holy Spirit, and expect God to speak to us through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. We encourage participation from anyone in the church, and love to see people stepping out in faith to encourage the church. Our Worship is lively, God-honouring and Jesus-centered.

If you would like to join the service via Zoom, please contact: admin@kingscc.org for details.

MIDWEEK

During the week, we meet in smaller groups around town and the surrounding area. These groups at King’s Church are an essential part of our life together. They are a place to connect with others and to get to know each other better. They are a place to belong and form deeper connections as a church family, where we can inspire and encourage each other through the ups and downs of life. They are a place to grow personally and together in our life in Christ.

Our small groups meet in different ways, at different times and places, but all reflect our church vision of “Loving Jesus, Making Him known”. Some groups meet in people’s homes, focus on a common interest, are creative or sporting, or have a specific focus e.g. prayer for revival.
