Churches that Change Communities 2020 A call to act in the wake of coronavirus.
Online: Saturday 7 November, 10am - 4pm
Cost: £20 (£5 for those facing hardship)
Keynote Speakers: Martin Charlesworth, Rachel Gardner
This year we’re holding our tenth J+ annual conference and we had felt it should be the most impactful and accessible one yet. Then Coronavirus hit and we had to re-think the practices without losing sight of our original vision. So, we are putting our conference online and it will include everything you’d expect from our events, just delivered in a different way. We will be streaming the conference live from The Message Trust venue in the morning with worship, prophetic contributions and keynote messages. This will be hosted by Martin Charlesworth (Jubilee+) and Sam Ward (Message Trust).
In the afternoon there will be the chance to choose from around 15 seminars relevant to the times in which we live, recorded especially for our conference. Those registered will have access to listen to any number of these seminars during the month of November, before they are made more widely available on our website. We look forward to welcoming you to our most ambitious and exciting conference yet, which is now easily accessible from wherever you are, without the cost of travel or accommodation. The event will encourage and equip those working on the front line of social action and those churches with a heart to serve the most disadvantaged in our communities. It will be a call to us to rise up and act for the good of those around us trapped in poverty in the wake of the coronavirus. Details of seminar speakers and subjects will be available on our website soon.
